ABOUT ME
Hello, I am Chen Qifan, I am a Hedrick Math Fellow at UCLA, working with Prof. Hayden Schaeffer and Prof. Yifan Chen.
I received my PhD in 2026 at The Ohio State University, where I was advised by Prof. Yulong Xing. I received my B.S. in Mathematics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021. You can find my biography here
My research interests lie in Numerical Analysis, Scientific Computing, and AI for Science. My thesis involves developing temporal discretizations for hyperbolic conservation laws and develop data-driven modeling of systems governed by unknown equations. I welcome discussions and potential collaborations.
